Run It Back: @3X3UHoops to Rebroadcast Entire 2019 Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship This Weekend

Rebroadcast Schedule

2019 Rosters and Pools

In what was a can’t-miss spectacle during college basketball’s championship weekend a season ago, the 2019 Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship will be streamed in its entirety on the event’s Twitter feed, @3X3UHoops, starting Friday and running throughout the weekend.

Friday and Saturday’s broadcasts will feature 48 pool-play games, and knockout games will be aired on Sunday. Friday’s broadcast of the first 24 pool play games will begin at 11 a.m. ET, while Saturday’s stream of the remaining 24 pool play games will start at 3 p.m. ET. Sunday’s broadcast will begin at 1 p.m. ET and include Round of 16, quarterfinal, semifinal, third-place and championship contests.

The Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship, which is the single-largest gathering of draft-eligible talent in the months leading up to the NBA Draft, annually features 128 seniors from all 32 Division I conferences vying for one of the biggest purses at any FIBA-sanctioned 3x3 event. Teams compete for $150,000, with $100,000 going to the tournament champions.

The 2019 event, which was held at Mall of America in Minneapolis, hosted more than 100 players who went on to sign professional contracts around the world for the 2019-20 season, including 24 players that currently hold contracts with NBA franchises or their affiliated G-League organizations. Hofstra’s Justin Wright-Foreman and College of Charleston’s Jarrell Brantley, both members of the winning CAA squad, were drafted by the Utah Jazz in last year’s NBA Draft. In total, nearly 100 All-Conference honorees, including 45 first-team selections, eight conference Players of the Year, eight conference Defensive Players of the Year, 11 USBWA All-District performers, nine conference tournament Most Outstanding Players and a Consensus Second-Team All-American helped make up the 128-player field.

Teams were assigned into eight pools of four and each team was guaranteed three pool play games, earning $1,000 for every victory. The top two teams in each pool moved on to the knockout stage, where only the teams that advanced to the semifinals had an opportunity to earn additional prize money. The championship team took home $100,000, while the runners-up shared $2,000 and the third-place team won an additional $1,000.
